I started painting at the encouragement of my son and

a close friend while still living in
California. During this time I attended evening classes and some all day classes and learned to
frame paintings as well.
I have continued with
drawing classes since returning to Maine in 1980. Due to job insecurity within the region I increased the size of my
flower gardens, dried my flowers, made
wreaths,
swags, and many different arrangements and created the
floral part of the business.
I am a
member of
Made in Maine. My work is currently available through
consignment shops at the following locations: The Corner House, Monson; Glass Paradox, Brownville Jct.; Abbot Museum and Mainely Crafts, Dexter; also, Bob's Hardware in Dover Foxcroft.
I like to
specialize in local scenes and flowers. I have original paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic, and some pen ink drawings. At this time, I have 24 available in
cards and
prints. Prints are 8" x 10" - $15.00 each and 11" x 14" - $25.95 each.
Cards have location
name of painting and
signature on back, are in plastic envelopes and are $3.45 each when sold separately.
